I’m a full-time photographer in the Netherlands and I’m planning on showing you a but more of my life as a photographer. Are you interested in photography? Are you looking for a free-online Photography course? Do you want to see the inside of a Photo Studio? Then please, watch my videos and subscribe to my channel!

I’m planning on sharing videos in which I show you my typical work-week as a photographer. I will give you tips & tricks concerning photography, photo shoots, backdrops, studio props, camera settings (iso, aperture, shutter speed, white balance), photoshoot outfits, photoshoot make-up etc.

Ik zal videos maken over camera instellingen (iso, sluitertijd, diafragma, wit-balans), studio achtergronden, fotoshoot outfits, fotoshoot make-up enz.

IMPORTANT
If you are interested in photographing newborn babies yourself I would highly recommend you to first learn about photography in general. Master you camera, photograph in the Manual mode, learn about aperture, iso, shutter speed, white balance, light and composition. Take photos of your friends (adults or very patient older kids) and make sure you don’t have to think about your camera anymore when photographing babies. Learn about editing as well. Please, don’t experiment photographing Newborn babies without training. Attend a workshop by an experienced and professional photographer with an expertise in Newborn Photography. Learn about the anatomy of babies and invest in good quality cameras, lenses and props. Babies are extremely vulnerable and small and their safety and comfort should be your highest priority. Start with simple poses and make sure you know and understand that many ‘pinterest poses’ are composites. Please, don’t try this at home. If you want beautiful photos of your own Newborn Baby, I highly recommend you to hire a professional and experienced photographer who is trained and specialised in Newborn Photography.

  1. Hey Fenna, I was wondering what size light stand you use for your speedlight?

  2. Can you make a video on different ways to wrap a baby. Love your voice

  3. Hi Fenna, I L💗VE your videos! You're so lovely to learn from! I'm a photographer in Canada and I'm wondering where you might have ordered the salmon colored fluff that you have right at the beginning of the video in your first set up? Also the fabric that you have the baby posed on that has ribbons sewn in patterns on to it… I'm wondering where you may have ordered that from? Thank you so much!
    Carolyn 😊

This is sooo inspiring and beautifull tutorial .. i tried once to pose wide awake baby but i couldn't .. now i have some tips that would help .. Thank you soooo much for sharing your knowledge ..

  6. I’ve learned so much from your videos. Absolutely love!

  7. I absolutely love love love your videos! My dream is to become a photographer like you and have an studio as amazing as yours 😍. Really…. I mean it😁

  8. Great timing for this video! I’ve only done two model call sessions and both have been one month olds and wide awake. It is challenging to get more variety but it’s totally doable. The thing that gets me is they stretch their legs all the way straight and it looks awful in pics 😂

  9. so helpful..as every time. thank you sooo much lovely Fenna

  10. Hi where do you buy your nice baskets and wooden bowls? 😍

  12. Kelsey Diane says:

Do you schedule the sessions around babies nap time or feeding schedule? Is there anything you ask the parents to do before they arrive that help the baby sleep/relax?

  13. Sophie Yu says:

Awake baby is ok. Crying, fussy, gassy baby takes a long long time….

  14. Great video! I rarely have any awake babies, they all just fall asleep!

  15. That's all I seem to get, cant get a sleeping baby to save my life…they are just always awake!

  16. In my opinion, it's easier to photograph babies when they're sleeping….you can manipulate them and they don't stretch like when they're awake.

  17. Julia Sage says:

I love your videos I would love to see more of you working with your babies in the bowls x

You always have such a sweet and friendly style. Perhaps for April Fools Day you can have a "behind the scenes" video showing yourself flying into a rage when things go wrong dealing with problem children. ;-P Just kidding, while I'm sure you can have a bad day, nobody would believe such a video a moment!
